I applied a red filter to the Grand Canyon photo then placed in several objects such as the Astronaut, Futuristc Houses and Spaceship, all stock images. I blended those emements into the scene by adjusting color, lighting levels and by drawing shadows manually. I added some blur fx under the spaceship to simulate propulsion exhaust also.
