First off, I had to find two suitable, hi-res images of the guys, ideally with similar lighting and angles. I managed to find them online but one was colour and one was grayscale so that made my decision for me to have the final composition in grayscale. I aligned Paul’s face on top of John’s and masked out the outer edges then put a new pair of glasses over the new face complete with glare/shine and shadows. I made Paul’s eyes a little larger and doey with the liquify tool then applied some adjustment layers and photo filters to finish.
